About this grant

The goal of the grant is to support, inform and maximize the impact of philanthropists, social investors and those they support through the Aspen Institute’s Program on Philanthropy and Social Innovation. During the previous grant period, the grantee: 1) hosted the Aspen Philanthropy Group — a group of foundation chief executives and select strategic advisors; 2) convened the Seminar for Mid-America Foundation CEOs; 3) developed philanthropic leaders; and 4) convened and supported the Nonprofit Data Working Group. During the upcoming grant period, the grantee will focus on advancing philanthropy by hosting summits, advancing nonprofit data and developing philanthropic and nonprofit leaders. Established in 1949, Aspen Institute is a leading U.S. think tank with an international network of partners that fosters values-based leadership and provides a neutral and balanced venue for discussing and acting on critical issues.
