About this grant

The Ohio Environmental Council is a multi-issue, effective and respected statewide environmental organization promoting a healthier and more sustainable Ohio. With previous support from the Mott Foundation, the grantee made significant progress in the state and Great Lakes region working on: 1) climate; 2) energy; 3) public engagement; 4) water issues, including toxic chemicals and harmful algal blooms in Lake Erie; 5) water affordability; and 6) infrastructure investments such as lead service line replacement. With this grant, the Ohio Environmental Council will continue to advance the work of its water program and team to address threats to Ohio’s waters and Lake Erie.
