About this grant
The Center for Community Change (CCC) provides technical assistance in community development, community organizing, organizational development and public policy support to grassroots community groups in low-income areas throughout the United States. CCC recently undertook an intensive, strategic planning process along with an in-depth assessment of the U.S. economic and political environment as it relates to efforts to reduce poverty.Multiyear funding will enable CCC to focus on supporting new and diverse young leadership in the nonprofit sector; incubating and testing fresh ideas for reducing poverty; creating new messages and ways of communicating with the American public; and promoting relationships among immigrants and native-born populations.
