About this grant
This grant will support the implementation of a project to promote an understanding of the specific needs and concerns of low-income noncustodial parents for workforce development programs and other social services. To further the reach of the Fathers At Work Initiative, and to ensure that recent fatherhood and marriage promotion legislation achieve their objectives from a policy and service-provision perspective, the Center for Family Policy and Practice will publish and disseminate a series of white papers. The analysis and dissemination of the white papers will help to promote the delivery of effective services to low-income noncustodial parents. The center, founded in 1995, is a national policy agency dedicated to enhancing the situations of low-income families and families of color in the U.S.
