As a result of the passage of the No Child Left Behind Act, the State Education Agencies were presented with the responsibility to administer the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program at the state level and to develop and implement the newly created Supplemental Education Services (SES) program. In order to successfully utilize these two federal funding streams, coordination and integration among state education agencies are critical.Funding will enable the Collaborative Communications Group (CCG) to convene state education agency representatives that administer the 21st CCLC and SES programs. The meeting will employ various formats to facilitate learning and sharing of best practices among representatives. Two representatives will be invited from each state agency.CCG is a team of professionals who use innovative communications strategies, products and technologies to bring people together for the improvement of organizations, schools and communities.
