Expanded Learning and Afterschool Initiative

About this grant

This grant will allow the After-School Corporation to contribute to the development of school models that engage community partners based on the principles of high quality afterschool programs. The grantee will participate in the development of the initiative by: 1) creating technical assistance tools and materials for school and district leaders; 2) providing technical assistance to school districts; and 3) developing a long-term technical assistance plan for implementing new afterschool programs in schools. Ultimately, this project will help communities and schools use their resources to make better use of student learning time that prepares youth for college, careers, and life.
