About this grant
This grant will provide renewal funds to the Foundation for the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation to promote safety and security in downtown Flint. The Uptown Reinvestment Corporation, a supported organization of the Foundation for the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation, will contract services of uniformed security guards to patrol the areas around the 400 and 500 blocks of South Saginaw Street in downtown Flint and the adjacent Health and Wellness District to the east of Saginaw Street for regular security rotation and special events.
