About this grant
This grant increase to the Foundation for the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation will enable Hurley Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Center to relocate to premises within the new Flint Farmers’ Market building in the downtown Flint Health and Wellness District. This move will allow the center to continue its mission of providing state-of-the-art medical services to low-income children. Greater proximity to downtown bus transit options will make critical medical services more accessible to Flint’s families and will facilitate the center’s partnership with Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine’s pediatric residency program.
