About this grant
Through the Freshwater Leadership Initiative, the Institute for Conservation Leadership aims to improve the organizational capacity of freshwater conservation groups in the Great Lakes and Southeast, as well as strengthen collaborative efforts among such organizations. This grant will enable the institute to continue helping freshwater conservation groups use a blended approach of workshops, intensive training, consulting, facilitation and coaching to meet the developmental needs of the groups.Accomplishments during the past two years included providing one-day workshops to more than 170 groups; consulting more intensely with 16 groups; and producing an organizational assessment workbook for all-volunteer groups.
