About this grant
The Michigan Chamber Foundation hosts an annual public policy forum that brings together legislative, business and civic leaders to discuss how Michigan can best position itself to meet the economic, quality of life and related pressing needs of the 21st century. The focus of the 2002 conference is on Michigan cities. This grant increase will support costs associated with bringing a nationally recognized urban policy expert to the event as a featured speaker; providing scholarship support for nonprofit and public interest representatives to attend the conference; and printing copies of a report on the status of Michigan cities for distribution to conference attendees.
