About this grant
Michigan Community Capital is a nonprofit community development corporation which is also designated as a Community Development Finance Institution and a Community Development Entity by the federal government. The grantee funds community development real estate projects across the state. This grant will provide match funding for a housing construction and redevelopment project in the Carriage Town neighborhood. Michigan Community Capital will partner with the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation, a supported organization of the Foundation for the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation on the development.
