About this grant

The Michigan Ready to Succeed Partnership was established following the implementation of Public Act 135, which created the Ready to Succeed Dialogue in Michigan. The mission of the partnership is to prepare children to learn and develop a capacity for success in school and in life. To that end, the partnership works to improve access to high quality early care and education.Multiyear funding will support objectives that include identifying best practices in Michigan school readiness programs; building a constituency of support for best practices; developing media campaign goals and materials; expanding outreach activities to opinion leaders, policymakers, community groups and local advocates; and developing a state-specific analysis of the social and economic benefits of high-quality early care and education.Michigan’s Children is a statewide, multi-issue, independent advocacy group that acts as a voice for children. The organization works to improve the quality of life for children and their families.
