About this grant

The Fathers at Work Initiative is a six-site demonstration project that aims to reduce poverty by supporting interventions to assist young, low-income fathers. The National Center for Strategic Nonprofit Planning and Community Leadership and Public/Private Ventures (P/PV) are collaborating to provide technical assistance, training and partnership facilitation for the six sites.Third-year funding will enable the center to continue delivering technical assistance and training to the sites; administer the project in partnership with P/PV; monitor and track program development; and disseminate publications on key lessons learned. Specific activities will include identifying opportunities for cross-site learning; providing ongoing feedback of data and other information gathered through monthly reports, site visits and surveys; and documenting program implementation at all six sites.
