About this grant
The program goal is to combat corruption, reduce poverty levels, and promote sustainable development in Montenegro by supporting good governance and public participation in decisionmaking processes. To this end, the Network for the Affirmation of NGO Sector – MANS will strengthen and raise awareness of mechanisms for public participation in decisionmaking processes, build the capacity of the nonprofit sector to facilitate public participation, and monitor implementation and enforcement of anticorruption regulations. Specific focus will be given to increasing the number of community volunteers involved in its program activities, strengthening local nonprofits’ capacities to fight corruption, and expanding cooperation with investigative journalists across the Balkan region. The grantee is based in Podgorica.
