About this grant

The World Bank’s Small Grants Program aims to promote civic engagement for the empowerment of marginalized and vulnerable people. Funded by the World Bank’s Development Grant Facility, the program is one of only a few grant mechanisms through which the World Bank directly supports civil society organizations. This grant will provide funding for an independent evaluation of the small grants program. The evaluation will be conducted by Pact Institute, with guidance from a multidisciplinary advisory team, which will include representatives from the World Bank, beneficiary organizations, private foundations, and other nonprofit organizations. Evaluation findings will be available to the public.
