About this grant

The mission of the Philanthropy Roundtable is to foster excellence in philanthropy and assist donors in advancing freedom, opportunity and philanthropy. Currently, there are more than 600 members.Multiyear funding will enable the organization to continue to provide high quality programs and publications. Objectives include conducting regional meetings that focus on specific geographic issues; holding an annual meeting for members nationwide; publishing the magazine, "Philanthropy;" revising guides to feature more in-depth analysis of charitable giving; and providing electronic news brief stories from around the country.Recent activities included publishing six issues of "Philanthropy" per year; conducting three regional meetings; organizing the 2002 annual meeting, "Excellence in Philanthropy;" and redesigning the Web site.
