About this grant

The Fathers at Work Initiative is a six-site demonstration project that aims to reduce poverty by supporting interventions that increase labor market participation, earnings, and responsible fatherhood among young, low-income fathers. In addition, the demonstration sites help fathers manage child support matters, and in select sites, help fathers re-enter families and communities from parole or probation. This grant increase will enable Public/Private Ventures to continue to provide management of the initiative, evaluation of the project, technical assistance to the sites, and dissemination of publications on the key lessons learned.
