About this grant
This grant will support the School Services of Montana which coordinates the Montana Statewide Afterschool Network to continue development of policy, partnerships and resources to benefit youth in afterschool programs. Specific initiatives will include: 1) engaging partners to embed STEM learning in the state’s workforce development initiatives; 2) developing and launching a school-age quality system that aligns with the quality standards for afterschool programs; 3) expanding professional development opportunities to afterschool programs locally, regionally and statewide; and 4) supporting the promotion and distribution of the Mizzen by Mott App.
