About this grant

The Southern African NGO Network (SANGONeT) provides information technology services and training to the nonprofit sector. Multiyear funding will support two major projects that focus on the information needs of the nonprofit sector in South Africa: PRODDER and Thusanang. The goal of PRODDER is to develop a comprehensive Internet portal providing accessible and up-to-date information on the South African nonprofit sector. Thusanang, which means "giving and sharing" in Sotho, will serve as a user-friendly funding information portal for nonprofit organizations and grantmakers in Southern Africa.SANGONet is an electronic networking organization that provides affordable and accessible electronic communication, information and networking services to the nonprofit sector.
