About this grant
The Uthungulu Community Foundation was founded in 1999 to promote the development of communities in the Uthungulu district of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. It makes grants, provides training, and creates linkages between government, business, universities and civil society in the region. Past support has enabled the grantee to train young people in the district, make grants, and build the capacity of community-based organizations. This grant will enable the grantee to continue providing training to community-based organizations and unemployed young people in the Uthungulu district.
