About this grant
This grant will support Voices for Georgia’s Children, which coordinates the Georgia Statewide Afterschool Network, to continue development of policy, partnerships, and resources to benefit youth in afterschool programs. Specific initiatives will include: 1) develop research briefs connecting afterschool to key topics including substance abuse and juvenile justice; 2) launch a new online learning system for afterschool professionals; 3) create new programming focused on supporting children’s behavioral health in afterschool; and 4) support the development and distribution of the new afterschool program content in collaboration with the Foundation’s thematic partners.
