About this grant
The Fundacion Ambiente y Recursos Naturales is an Argentina-based nongovernmental organization that has promoted sustainable finance and development through policy, law and civic engagement for 35 years. Over the previous grant period, the grantee made progress monitoring Chinese development finance compliance with safeguards and the World Bank’s financing of fossil fuel development in Argentina. Important contributions were made to strengthening environmental social governance of international and Chinese development finance. During this grant period, Fundacion Ambiente y Recursos Naturales will work with its partners to monitor and analyze the factors and financial actors shaping energy development and project selection in Argentina.
