About this grant
This grant will support the School Services of Montana which coordinates the Montana Afterschool Network to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will include: 1) expand the number of afterschool programs available for young people in Montana by supporting a state policy and practice agenda with Network partners; 2) develop a coordinated state model among the juvenile justice and afterschool sectors to better support at-risk youth; 3) work with education stakeholders and policymakers to design and implement education recovery funding to help Montana youth recover and thrive; 4) work with the Mott Foundation to design future afterschool programs and ecosystems; and 5) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen resources.
