About this grant

Recent trends, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, national discussions on race and potential changes in the federal role in education, have significantly affected the education field. Understanding how these and other trends may impact instruction and learning is important for efforts to transform education systems and improve outcomes for young people. This grant will support Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in continuing their work with Education program grantees to: 1) identify key drivers of change over the next decade; 2) assess their implications for education and youth development; and 3) develop strategic responses. Planned activities include developing resource materials, in-person and virtual presentations and a recorded webinar series. Nelson Mullins is a U.S. law firm with extensive consulting experience in policy, strategy, corporate law and advocacy aimed at improving the U.S. education system.
