About this grant
The Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy has been a legal and scientific voice for Minnesota’s environment for 50 years. The grantee’s team of in-house lawyers and scientists works to address environmental issues across all branches of government. With prior Mott support, the grantee achieved several legal victories that protect people in the Lake Superior watershed and across the state from pollution, toxic chemicals and unsafe drinking water. Renewed support will help advance progress toward protecting Minnesota’s environment with a focus on: 1) natural resource protection; 2) water quality; 3) climate change solutions; and 4) environmental justice.
