About this grant
International Accountability Project advocates for development practices that prioritize human rights, environmental protection and community-led development. With Mott Foundation support, the grantee set up and continues to develop the Early Warning System, an online tool supported by a staff team, that organizes information on investments by international financial institutions. Over the past grant period, the grantee continued to develop the Early Warning System and build the capacity of communities to use the information and engage development finance institutions. With renewed support, the International Accountability Project will: 1) curate and use the Early Warning System; 2) support communities and partners; 3) analyze trends; 4) and advocate for sustainable energy and infrastructure finance.
