About this grant
Founded in 1701, Yale University is one of the oldest universities in the United States. During the previous grant period, the grantee has placed seven graduate environmental fellows across seven Great Lakes organizations. In addition, the grantee has completed several associated research studies, hosted the annual New Horizons in Conservation conferences and established a publicly accessible online directory of U.S. environmental professionals. With additional support from the Mott Foundation, the grantee will: 1) continue to place three environmental fellows annually in Great Lakes organizations; 2) further develop the online directory of environmental professions; 3) host the annual New Horizons in Conservation conference; and 4) continue the ongoing research on improving participation within the U.S. environmental nonprofit sector.
