About this grant
This grant increase will support the Rhode Island Foundation which coordinates the Rhode Island Statewide Afterschool Network to leverage opportunities to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. With this increase and extension, the grantee will continue to: 1) increase access to high-quality afterschool programs through community-based outreach initiatives; 2) enhance youth outcomes by leading a workforce development initiative to support the afterschool workforce in Rhode Island; and 3) leverage strong community partnerships to increase awareness of the importance of afterschool.
