About this grant
This grant increase will support the New Jersey School-Age Child Care Coalition which coordinates the New Jersey Statewide Afterschool Network to leverage opportunities to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. With this increase and extension, the grantee will continue to: 1) deepen its partnerships to increase sustainability of afterschool programs for youth in New Jersey; 2) expand support for afterschool educators to help address statewide staffing shortages; 3) work with partners to conduct a new study on the cost of afterschool and school-age programs; and 4) support the development of a quality rating scale for school-age programs.
