About this grant
This grant increase will support the New York State Network for Youth Success, Inc. which coordinates the New York Statewide Afterschool Network to leverage opportunities to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. With this increase and extension, the grantee will continue to: 1) increase the sustainability of afterschool programs for youth in New York through creating new partnerships and engaging new champions; 2) implement site leader institutes to increase professional development for afterschool educators; 3) provide statewide technical assistance to existing programs on quality tools and standards, including those funded through 21st Century Community Learning Centers, and 4) increase STEM opportunities for youth in afterschool programs.
