About this grant
This grant increase will support the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit which coordinates the Pennsylvania Statewide Afterschool Network to leverage opportunities to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. With this increase and extension, the grantee will continue to: 1) implement a comprehensive plan to establish workforce development pathways for middle school and high-school age youth in afterschool programs; 2) expand access to afterschool programs through creating new partnerships with business and the government sector; and 3) develop career exploration toolkits aligned with high-demand industries such as healthcare, STEM, skilled trades, education and media/arts.
