About this grant
This grant increase will support the Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence which coordinates the Arizona Statewide Afterschool Network to leverage opportunities to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. With this increase and extension, the grantee will continue to: 1) increase the sustainability for high-quality afterschool programs for youth in Arizona; 2) implement the new credentials to increase professional development support for the afterschool workforce; 3) develop and launch quality standards for STEM learning in afterschool programs; and 4) coordinate partners from across state agencies to align resources for youth in afterschool programs.
