About this grant
This grant to the Saint Mark Community Outreach Center will support the restoration of staffing and essential services for an under-resourced community. These services include programs to fight food insecurity, after-school activities and mental health support. According to 2023 Census data, Flint has a median household income of $36,194, which is one of the lowest in the state. Many of the north Flint residents who rely on the critical services provided by the Saint Mark Community Outreach Center have incomes that fall below this median level.
