About this grant
This grant will support the Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation’s Partnership for Ukraine program. Since the program’s launch in 2023, the grantee has provided 170 fellowships (week-long study tours to Central Europe in groups of 10-15 participants) for Ukrainian government, business, media and civil society leaders from localities throughout Ukraine, focusing on energy and environment-related issues. Along with other activities, the grantee has also supported 10 pilot projects in local Ukrainian communities. Over the next three years, the grantee plans to continue providing fellowships, consolidate a network of 250 program alumni, support local pilot projects and establish an independent Ukrainian Environmental Partnership Foundation. Established in 1994, the Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation is a member of the Environmental Partnership Association for Central Europe. The Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation’s mission is to improve the state of the environment, promote sustainable development, and strengthen civil society in Czechia by providing financial and technical support to nongovernmental organizations.
