About this grant
The purpose of this grant is to provide comprehensive support to internally displaced persons and others affected by the conflict in Ukraine. Through a network of online and offline legal advice facilities, Gorenie will provide free primary legal assistance to displaced victims of conflict in regions bordering on the conflict zone. Additionally, the grantee will conduct monitoring and reporting on the conditions facing displaced persons to help inform international assistance efforts, while also implementing legal awareness and economic development training for these communities. In 2024-25, the grantee provided legal, social and humanitarian assistance to approximately 100,000 people affected by conflict. Based in Dnipro, Gorenie was founded in 2005 to provide wide-ranging assistance to disadvantaged and marginalized groups throughout Ukraine.
