About this grant
The Biodiversity Funders Group is a philanthropic network of environmental, conservation, climate and energy funders, founded in 1987, that serves as a learning, coordination and collaboration hub across the biodiversity field. With approximately 80 member institutions and activities benefiting more than 200 grantmakers, the grantee provides regular webinars, newsletters and annual convenings through its programs and working groups, including the Funders of the Amazon Basin group. Building on growing membership and shared goals, Biodiversity Funders Group will continue to: 1) advance cross-funder collaboration; 2) convene leaders from climate, conservation and Tribal communities; and 3) promote more impactful biodiversity philanthropy in the U.S. and around the world including the Amazon.
