Flint Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Youth Mentorship Program

About this grant

This grant will support SIPI, Inc. to lead in the coordination and alignment of Flint’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. With seven years of leadership in the Flint entrepreneurial network, SIPI is a trusted partner locally. Now supported through the Youth Engagement program area, SIPI will prioritize youth entrepreneurship strategies as key components of the project. Goals of this grant project include: 1) integrate youth engagement within the broader network; 2) elevate mentorship as a shared infrastructure opportunity; 3) strengthen partner coordination and engagement, with a focus on youth serving organizations; 4) improve communications and shared learning opportunities across the community; and 5) reduce barriers for early-stage and under-resourced entrepreneurs to more easily navigate business development pathways.
