About this grant
This grant will support the University of Missouri, Columbia, which coordinates the Missouri Statewide Afterschool Network to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will include: 1) work with policymakers to increase access to afterschool through state initiatives; 2) lead statewide coordination of professional development and education pathways for afterschool staff; 3) develop resources for local programs to communicate the impact of afterschool within their communities; and 4) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen Education, Inc. resources.
