About this grant
American Rivers is a national organization whose mission is to protect wild rivers, restore damaged rivers and improve water quality for people and nature. The organization’s Clean Water Program addresses the challenges of polluted waterways, aging water infrastructure and water management at the local, state and national levels. With partial support from the Mott Foundation, American Rivers will implement the Clean Water Program, which will include working on urban rivers, developing a national stormwater policy and building broad-based public support for clean water and stormwater solutions.
