Know before you go

What to know before you attend the Mott Foundation Centennial Family Fun Days.

Feel free to bring your bag, purse, backpack or fanny pack. Bags may be examined by security.

Feel free to bring your stroller or wagon but note that some areas require them to be parked outside.

Please leave your pets at home. Service animals are welcome.

This is a weapons-free event. Leave your firearms, knives, nunchucks and anything else that could be used as a weapon at home.

Smoking is not allowed. This is a smoke-free and vape-free event.

Adult beverages and recreational drugs are not allowed.

There will be some seating available around the stage on Friday and Saturday. On Friday night only, feel free to bring your own lawn chair or blanket to sit on.

Bring a bag, a shirt or another item for a DIY screen printing activity. You will also receive a tote bag at the gate you can use.

Please refrain from campaigning or handing out political materials during the event.

Stay hydrated and grab a snack at one of our beverage stations.

Look for the banner marked “Parks Voting” to cast your vote for which Flint parks should receive upgrades.

Use the event map to find the scavenger hunt clues. Complete the scavenger hunt, then claim your prize.

Don’t hesitate to ask for help! Look for Mott Foundation staff and event volunteers in bright green shirts.

Family Fun Days parking information

On Friday, June 5, all Flint Cultural Center parking lots will be open. On Saturday, June 6, parking will be limited on and around the Flint Cultural Center campus, but shuttles will be providing transportation from the University of Michigan-Flint and Mott Community College. Please see the map below for more information on where to park.
