About this grant
Foundations, Inc., will lead the Accelerator for Afterschool Investment — an initiative of the 50 State Afterschool Network to increase access to high-quality afterschool programs through state-level funding. Foundations, Inc., has supported the development of educators for the past 30 years by meeting the unique needs of educators and education entities through support services, professional development and educational resources. Specific outcomes of the initiative include: 1) increasing afterschool network leadership’s policymaking acumen; 2) strengthening systems of support for afterschool network leaders; and 3) deepening engagement of afterschool program staff within high-priority states.
