About this grant
This grant to the Flint Cultural Center Corporation will support the Mott Foundation Centennial Family Fun Days. Since its founding, the Flint community has been at the heart of the Foundation’s grantmaking. In 2026, the Mott Foundation celebrates its centennial anniversary. The event will consist of free, family-friendly activities on June 5-7, 2026, across the Flint Cultural Center campus. Exhibits and activities at institutions, such as the Sloan Museum of Discovery and Flint Institute of Arts, will be open and free to anyone who attends the event. Additionally, an outdoor stage will feature local performances, the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library will offer free books as part of the Summer Reading Challenge Kickoff and the Flint Cultural Center Academy will host a free, 3-on-3 basketball tournament.
