About this grant
This renewal grant will provide funds enabling Genesee County Habitat for Humanity to continue its vital Flint Home Improvement Fund program. This multifaceted program enables residents of the city of Flint who either cannot afford or do not qualify for other home improvement lending programs to address critical home repair needs. Needs addressed by the program include: 1) façade improvements; 2) structural repairs; 3) abatement services; 4) accessibility modifications; and 5) any other health, safety or code-related issues. Programs like the Flint Home Improvement Fund help to strengthen neighborhoods and improve the quality of life for Flint families.
