Mike Wright

About

Mike Wright is chief technology officer at the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, where he designs, maintains and administers digital technologies for the Foundation.

A graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Wright’s journey with the Mott Foundation began with an internship during his studies. His passion for technology and innovation has long been evident in both his professional endeavors and community involvement.

Mike has served as a mentor in the Technology Association of Grantmakers Emerging Leaders Initiative and is an active contributor to the Council of Michigan Foundations Technology Roundtable.

Beyond his role at the Foundation, Mike is deeply committed to community service. He has served as a Boy Scouts leader and has coached students in the FIRST Tech Challenge and the FIRST Lego League. He is a founder and current board member of Factory Two, a community maker space in his hometown of Flint.

In his leisure time, Mike enjoys hiking, biking, camping and working in his basement machine shop.
