About
Prior to joining the Mott Foundation, Cody Alexander worked at Plante Moran in Flint as a tax senior.
Alexander earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Adrian College. After college, he spent a year serving as a team leader in the AmeriCorps NCCC program’s Pacific region, guiding a team of young adults in service projects that focused on affordable housing, resource sustainability and rebuilding homes after wildfires.
After completing his service term, Alexander enrolled at the University of Michigan-Flint, where he earned a master’s degree in accounting. Shortly after, he became a licensed certified public accountant.
Alexander lives in his hometown of Fenton. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, gardening, spending time outdoors and coaching baseball.
