About this grant
Michigan is still in the relatively early stages of the clean energy transition. Tools and technical assistance are needed to help early adopters navigate a range of financial and market barriers. With partial support from Mott, Michigan Saves will develop two such tools: an on-bill financing program for energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements, and an energy savings reporting system for nonprofits engaged in promoting the adoption of energy efficiency measures. Michigan Saves is a statewide organization that provides affordable financing options for homeowners, businesses, and local governments that want to adopt energy efficiency and renewable energy practices.
