About this grant
The Innovation Village Hub, a Ugandan nonprofit organization, was founded in 2017 to address the challenge of youth unemployment in Uganda. Over the years, the grantee has established a nationwide youth entrepreneurship ecosystem that combines affordable co-working spaces with entrepreneurship training, technical support and financing services. With this grant, The Innovation Village Hub will provide targeted start-up incubation and acceleration services aimed at increasing the share of financial flows going to local entrepreneurs who are providing solar energy services across key agricultural value chains in Uganda.
