About this grant
This grant to Doxa Development will support the nonprofit organization in continuing the Flint SOUP micro-grant program. Flint SOUP offers underserved residents the opportunity to pursue entrepreneurship as a viable career path. Since 2012, the program has given emerging entrepreneurs the opportunity to access financial support, technical assistance, and mentorship that helps them to develop their skills as entrepreneurs and grow their businesses. While primarily focused on supporting entrepreneurship, Flint SOUP also encourages community engagement and active participation among residents in an economically disadvantaged community.
