About this grant
Founded in 1985, American Jewish World Service aims to build a more just, equitable and sustainable world by financing community-driven advocacy and acting as a connector and strategic advisor to its grantee partners. It invests approximately $30 million a year and supports more than 500 groups and networks in 14 countries. Prior Mott Foundation funding supported the Land, Water and Climate Justice program’s work with partners in Southeast Asia monitoring the impact of large-scale investments on communities and the environment. With renewed support, American Jewish World Service will continue its long-term support for organizations and networks supporting affected communities.
