About this grant
The Chill Foundation provides young people with opportunities to develop skills and experiences related to boardsports and outdoor activities, focusing on those who might not otherwise have access. The grantee’s programs integrate experiential learning with mentoring and coaching, along with a values-based curriculum. Funding from the Mott Foundation will support the ongoing operation of the organization’s core programs, catering to the needs of youth and youth-serving agencies. Headquartered in Burlington, Vermont, the Chill Foundation reaches over 3,000 young individuals annually across more than 22 cities and 9 countries worldwide.
